fanfiction.com

Yesterday after my presentation, Katrina informed me about different sites i can use in helping me achieve my goal of making a anime blog sharing site. One of the main sites she gave me in relevance to my research, was a website called http://www.fanfiction.net/ is a blog site dedicated to comic books, animation, film, television, sound and anime. I wanted to join the site to be connected with peers who shared a similar liking to mine and and get a bettter understandin but i found that i every pen name was invalid. I ask everyone whos interested in joining the site to give it a try, i guarantee you wont be able to get through. But just on the of chance you do get through, let me know so i can further my developement.

Wikipedia and Anime

I still feel like i dont trully understand the meaning of anime. to me i just thought of it as animation from japan, but on further inspection i found out so much more. i went to wikipedia.org because that is the newest web 2.0 form of an encyclopedia. when i tpyed in anime on the site i found out so much about to do with anime. the site talked about the history behind the word and how it all began and what they were tryin to achieve. they have sub genres related to the different apects in new and old media asscociated with anime. they talk about the influence that this asian genre is having over western culture and even the legal sides to making and publishin anime media.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime

this idea, to look for anime within other sites like wikipedia wouldn't of come to me had i not been looking at my friend francis blog page. in his blog he was talking about the history behind the UK music scene known as "grime".

anime blogs

Today i am going to be researching different anime blogs on the internet. i've started of by searching through google.com
when i typed in anime blog's in the search engine i found over hundreds of sites dedicated to anime where by fans could post there personal opinions of there favourite anime's or make a discussion about a certain point within the anime lifestyle. a perfect example of a blog site i found was from a web designer called Kurogane. Kurogane's Anime Blog has discussions everyday on the neweset animations out and the way people will percieve these new animations.

how to make a blog

the first thing you need to do is go to blogger.com and set up your own account. once on the page, you are given the option to create your own account the promotion of Google. on the first page of creating your account, you will have to think of a username and a password to log in to the account with. whats good about the blogger site is that they tell you how secure your password is whilst your typing. on the next page, you have to fill out details about yourself such as your location, interests and goals in life. when you have finished making the blogger site, you can get your own personalised URL link from blogger.com
